A Warning to Trespassers
The Putnam County sheriff's department has warned a local resident that he could be charged with criminal trespassing in his own home. The issue, according to authorities, is that the residence on Joe Rawlings Road has been quarantined because a meth lab was found there several months ago. They say no one is allowed to live in the home until they receive notice from a qualified clean-up company that the home has been properly decontaminated and the quarantine lifted. According to a report by Deputy Tony Branch, the department has received several complaints over the past few weeks of someone living in that home.
