12 count indictment for selling crack near daycare

Drug charges are pending today against a Cookeville woman, indicted for allegedly selling cocaine out of her home. A 12-count indictment has been handed down against 44-year-old Kimberly Ann Albert of Shanks Avenue. Investigators claim that Albert sold crack cocaine on numerous occasions to an undercover officer working with the sheriff's department. She's been charged with three counts of selling cocaine, three counts of delivering cocaine and six counts of violating the drug free school zone law. Officials say those charges came about because her home is within a thousand feet of a nearby daycare center. Albert's bond was set at $40,000 and she'll be arraigned in Criminal Court on Monday.
