A convicted sex offender will be back in court later this month on charges of violating state regulations. The Putnam County sheriff's department says 52-year-old Donald H. Guy of Pine Avenue violated the state's sex offender laws by moving into a home where a minor also lives. According to reports, Guy had been ordered to have no contact with the minor who was his victim in a case of sexual battery. But authorities allege that Guy has "established a living accomodation" in a Cookeville home where that child lives. They also say he failed to report a change of address to his probation officer. He'll be in court on the charges Sept. 28.
