Teenager Dies At Cummins Falls

Funeral services are being held Monday for a Cookeville teenager, who died after falling some 40 feet at Cummins Falls in Jackson County. 18-year-old Bryan Hudelston, who was known as "Polar Bear," had been exploring the area with some friends last week when he apparently slipped and fell, hitting a rock and landing in the water below. Officials with the Jackson County Rescue Squad say the incident was the sixth time this year that rescuers have been called to Cummins Falls to help victims of falls and other accidents. But it was the first fatality reported this year. Hudelston had been graduated from Cookeville High School earlier this year.
