Hundreds of girls across Tennessee auditioned to compete in The Tennessee Top Model Competition held Saturday night at the Cookeville Drama Center. Shan Burklow and Beth Chandler of Studio Six Limited hosted the evening's festivities along with entertainment personality Jane Ellen. Girls were judged on their stage presence, runway skills, and a personal interview with Dan Modeling Agency. A distinguished panel of judges included Dan Agency President Stephanie Beck Williams, Dan Williams - Dan Williams Music Nashville, Renee Flatt - Crowns for a Cause, and Amanda Kaye West - former Miss S. Tennessee and Miss Ohio. Fashion Photographer Kelly Sinclair was on hand to show off the girls photogenic capabilities.
A special guest appearance by 'American Idol' performer, Josh Isaac, made for an enjoyable intermission as well as performances by Carrie's Dance Academy of Sparta and singer, Mercedes Luna of Smithville.

"We were so proud of all of the girls' poise and skill, but were most impressed with the character and beautiful sportsmanship behind the scenes. It has been such a great opportunity for all of these girls to get one on one face time with such a distinguished modeling agency," Shan Burklow of Studio Six stated after the show, "It's an honor to have such a high ranking competition come to the Upper Cumberland. Matrix sent reps out as well to scout for models to promote their newest advertising campaign."
