Arrested With Someone Else's Urine

A Cookeville man who was wanted on outstanding warrants was arrested on Tuesday after being noticed by an off-duty police officer, who was working security at The Pain Clinic on Neal Street. The report says Officer Jeff Glass recognized 23-year-old Robert Joseph Spurlock of Heartland Lane when he showed up at the clinic to get a prescription. Police say Spurlock was wanted for failing to show up in court on an unrelated charge. While searching him, they claim that they found a pill bottle with a liquid in it that Spurlock allegedly told them was someone else's urine ... that he was going to use so he could pass a drug test. When the staff at the clinic was advised of that information, they reportedly took the prescription that Spurlock had just been given away from him.
