Crossville Man LInked To Cookeville Thefts

Authorities say a number of burglary cases in the Cookeville area were solved this week with the arrest of a man in Cumberland County. 33-year-old James Mitchell Roysdon of Chestnut Hill Road has been arrested on multiple counts of burglary, theft and assault. Among the items he is accused of stealing are a welder reported stolen from Cookeville Heating and Cooling, and four trailers, one of which was taken from Cookeville Freewill Baptist Church. Cumberland County Sheriff Butch Burgess sent an investigator to Putnam County after receiving further information from a confidential informant of additional stolen goods, and investigators reportedly recovered a 2008 Chevy Colorado at a motel here that had been stolen from a golf course in Fairfield Glade.
