School Board To Take Up Zoning Again

At least one member of the Putnam County school board may have to change his position when it comes to the issue of zoning. Sources tell us that there may be no consensus yet among the six member board on just what should be done about the issue. Three members reportedly support a zoning plan passed earlier this year, while three others believe that plan needs to be tweaked somewhat. Schools director Dr. Kathleen Airhart will present a proposal this afternoon on some adjustments that she thinks may need to be made, including how to address the issue of allowing siblings to attend the same school.
