Video Evidence May Help Catch Thieves

Authorities say they are reviewing video surveillance tapes from the Dairy Queen on Spring Street in an effort to determine who snatched a donation box from the business Sunday night. According to a report by Officer Adrienne Lintz, two young men grabbed the container and ran away. They left in a blue car that was described as either an Impala or a Lumina. The suspects were described by store employees only as two white males of average height and weight, but authorities say the store's surveillance system captured video of the incident, which may provide more clues to their identity. The money had been intended to benefit the local animal shelter.
