Long-Time TTU Registration Employee Retires

Shirley Dyer, a long-time office supervisor in Records and Registration at Tennessee Tech, is being honored for her years of service to the university as "the driving force behind the Registration Center." Dyer took retirement at the end of June and was named co-ambassador of the month, along with Polly Burns, a coordinator in the Financial Aid office. During her time at TTU, Dyer saw registration technology constantly changing, and oversaw conversions to new systems in 1988, 1995, and 2008. She had been with the university since September 1984.
