Tennessee Tech University football coach Watson Brown says there are positive things to take away from his team's 44-to-3 loss to Arkansas over the weekend. He says, for one thing, there were no major injuries, although some players will be listed as questionable for this week.
"I'm really proud of our guys," Brown said. "I think they played really hard in the game. I wouldn't say we played really well. I was a little surprised that we made more mistakes than we finished the year making. But the effort, the attitude during the game, the competitiveness by our kids, the toughness they showed -- all of that was really good."
The schedule doesn't get any easier this weekend, as the Golden Eagles go on the road to play at Texas Christian University.
