TTU Student Arrested For The Third Time In A Month

Cookeville police say a Tennessee Tech student, who has already been in trouble with the law twice this year, is now charged in a series of burglaries around the area. Police arrested 23-year-old Davis A. Rhea of Jobe Hall on Monday after allegedly finding a number of stolen items in his dorm room. They also charged 28-year-old Jennifer Gail Knowlton, who they allege was in the room with Rhea. Both will be in court on October 18th facing six counts of aggravated burglary. Rhea was previously arrested on theft and forgery charges for allegedly stealing a textbook from the University bookstore and trying to sell it back to them. His court date in that case is September 20th. And he has a shoplifting charge from earlier in August after police say was caught shoplifting DVDs from a Walmart store.
