Woman Charged With Burglarizing Neighbor

A Cookeville woman has been charged with aggravated burglary after allegedly stealing a TV and other items from an apartment near her own. 24-year-old Jacqueline Michelle Parrish of West Stevens Street is accused of removing the screen from a neighbor's apartment while he was in the process of moving. She allegedly stole a 32-inch LCD television, valued at $800, and an Ipod Nano, worth $300. Police say she later texted an acquaintance about the break-in, saying that she had already sold the TV. She was arrested early the next morning.
