Woman Thinks Burglar Is A Hallucination

Cookeville police are investigating a break-in at a home on Springboro, which was not initially reported to them because the victim thought she was hallucinating. She told officers that she woke up about midnight and a man in her bedroom holding a small flashlight. Her waking apparently scared off the would-be burglar, but the woman said she didn't call police at that time because she thought the medication she was taking for allergies had caused her to hallucinate. It was the next morning that she discovered there were pry marks on the back door of her home and that her back window had been pried open. Nothing was apparently taken, though.
