Frosty Temperatures Expected to Continue

Most of the Cookeville area saw temperatures in the 30s once again overnight, according to the National Weather Service, which says frost is also possible again tonight. Meteorologist Sam Herron was quoted by the Tennessean newspaper as saying “I expect folks to do a little frost scraping the next couple of mornings." He says the high today is expected to be in the low 60s and Wednesday’s temperature should reach the 70s. And Herron says the forecast is for a relatively dry week as Putnam County school students take their first week of fall break.  Temperatures will be in the 80s by this weekend, he says.
