Video About Tennessee Tech Wins Award

A video about Tennessee Tech by Cookeville's public television station, WCTE-TV, and Cookeville-based producer Todd Jarrell has won what's called a Gold Eagle Award for public service. According to the Cookeville Herald-Citizen, the video was about the school's involvement in a national critical thinking assessment project. It featured the CAT Instrument, a tool designed at Tennessee Tech to assess and promote the improvement of critical thinking and real-world problem-solving skills. The award acknowledges high quality production in a variety of categories for professional, independent and student filmmakers. Each year, hundreds of jurors judge some 1,000 entries in 32 categories.
