Florida Man Arrested For Trying Sell Stolen Car
Cookeville police say a Florida man has been charged with possession of stolen property after allegedly trying to sell a stolen car to a local business. Authorities identified the suspect as 37-year-old Glynn Cole Thacker of Jacksonville. They say he tried to sell a Land Rover for a thousand dollars, but was turned down. He then asked where the nearest scrap metal business was. Police reportedly met up with him at PSC Metals on Mill Avenue and confirmed that the vehicle had been reported stolen out of Florida. They also claim to have found marijuana pipes in the vehicle and charged Thacker with possession of drug paraphernalia. Thacker reportedly has a long criminal history in Florida.
