After winning its first two home games of the season against Middle Tennessee and NC State, the Tennessee Tech softball team will look for some more home cooking as it continues its 10-game homestand with four games in three days. Tech (7-7) will open the week Tuesday against UT Chattanooga then follow with a pair of games Wednesday against Bowling Green and Appalachian State. The Golden Eagles will then square off with Western Kentucky Thursday. Meanwhile, the Golden Eagle baseball team will take on the UNC-Charlotte 49ers on the road this week in a Tuesday/Wednesday mid-week series. Tech is coming off of a 1-2 weekend against the Ohio Bobcats, having taken game one of Friday's double-header, 8-5, and then dropping game two as well as the finale on Sunday, 8-4 and 4-0. Charlotte, meanwhile, just swept a close series with Asheville, winning two games by a one run each on Friday and Saturday at home.
