I-40 Traffic Stop Leads To Meth Charges
Police in Monterey say a car stopped for speeding along Interstate 40 allegedly contained many of the ingredients commonly used in the manufacture of methamphetamine, specifically several packages of Sudafed. Authorities say the three people in the car were all charged with promotion of meth manufacture. They were identified as 52-year-old Peggy Bennett, 45-year-old Shirley Greer, and the driver, 39-year-old Patrick D. Johnson -- all of Bowling Green, Kentucky. They'll be in court on the charges April 25th.
