Woman Accused Of Setting Fire To Ex's Property

Authorities say they have both eyewitness accounts and a tape recorded threat in the case of a Cumberland County woman, charged with setting fire to the personal property of her ex-boyfriend. Police claim that 32-year-old April Danette Howard of Crab Orchard phone her ex-boyfriend last month and threatened to burn down his home with him in it.  That threat was allegedly captured on a telephone answering machine. Later in the month, they say someone reported seeing Howard pouring gasoline around a trailer in the Glade Creek community where her ex-boyfriend lived.  Police say a four wheeler and a vehicle on the property had also been set on fire. Although Howard reportedly jumped into a car and fled the scene when someone spotted her, police say she left behind her purse. She'll be in court April 18th.
