One teenager was killed and four others were hurt after a wreck in Livingston Wednesday night. Livingston Police Chief Greg Etheridge said the teens were headed to a church service Wednesday night when their car crashed through a barrier and into a tree. 18-year-old Alex Wright was killed in the crash. Three female victims were flown by helicopter to Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville with serious injuries. All three are in critical condition with one in extremely critical condition. One other boy that was inside the car was treated
and released at a local hospital. The sheriff said the accident occurred on a steep hill in a residential section of Livingston. All the teenagers attend Livingston Academy. He also said neither drugs nor alcohol played a part in the crash.
